COVID-19 Safety & Resources

Jackson Street Pediatrics takes the safety of our patients and staff very seriously and we have put office procedures in place to reduce risk of spreading illness during the COVID-19 pandemic and going forward. Please read the details below before your next visit.

We Are Vaccinated

For our safety and yours, Dr. Wicker-Brown and the entire Jackson Street Pediatrics team have been vaccinated for COVID-19.

COVID-19 Vaccines

Vaccination has been successful in reducing severe COVID-19 illness and helping us return to our regular routines, but it is understandable that families have concerns. We have prepared some information to help you with your decision-making.

COVID Vaccine Considerations

Masks – Update (as of 7/15/21)

Anyone entering the clinic for any reason over the age of 4 must wear a mask.  Children ages 2-4 are encouraged to wear a mask as well, especially for sick visits. We are seeing an increase in COVID-19 cases, due to the Delta variant in addition to an increase in other respiratory illnesses. Masking will help protect spread of illness within our clinic and to some of our most vulnerable patients.

Scheduling

All patients must have a scheduled appointment so we can plan for your visit and limit overcrowding. This allow us to see your child efficiently and reduce spread of illness. We do have same day scheduling available and will make every effort to accommodate you.

Family Members

Please try to limit visits to the patients being seen and 1 adult. 2 adults may accompany children under 12 months. Please call and inquire if you have special circumstances where additional help may be necessary.
